CURRENT STUDENTS
It is said that sometimes survival is success. Many of our students come from a number of Pittsburgh’s poorest, crime-ridden neighborhoods. The staff of Imani Christian Academy could be forgiven for taking pride in simply guaranteeing the survival of our students.

Often times Imani must first embrace and secure the physical well-being of our children. Having established their stability, these most precious and vulnerable members of our community can then become the students and people that we strive to produce. Survival might well be success… but Imani will never accept that standard.

Even when confronted with the most difficult of life beginnings, many of our youngest students are thriving because of Imani’s approach.

Whether our older students began their schooling at Imani or transferred into our Academy, they are held to the same rigorous academic and behavioral standards. With adolescence yielding to the teenage years and their often dynamic and volatile passions, the Christ-centered focus and discipline that Imani mandates are especially valuable assets to our high school students.
