ATHLETICS
At Imani, we believe that physical education and physical activity are essential for developing the whole child. We teach children to respect their bodies and we train them in healthy living.
We use sports to augment the development of foundational skill sets and teach teamwork, respect and appreciation for others. As student athletes, they are charged with embracing the challenges of academic rigor and athletic competition, while exemplifying the character of Christ. At Imani, we believe that athletics are vitally important in the process of transforming our children into whole adults physically, as expressed in our mission statement.
